私の義弟（妻の妹の旦那さん）は、１０年前５８歳の若さで世を去った。がんだった。彼はことのほか「アザミの歌」が好きで、告別式の式場でも終始この歌がBGMとして流されていたのを思い出す。非常に穏やかで、かつ博識な人で、生きていれば節目節目でいろいろなことを導いてもらえたのではないかと残念でならない。

石原裕次郎主演の映画「錆びたナイフ」は見たことはないが、彼が歌ったこの歌は、何度聞いても本当に胸に「じん」と来るようないい歌である。
